Responsible for providing stra-tegic direction in the imple-mentation of ATC’s health, safety, security and environmental pro-tection policies and programs. He is also responsible for overall development and implementation of ATC’s Quality / Safety Manage-ment Systems

Education:

Capt. Wenz attended the Maine Maritime Academy, where he earned a BS in Nautical Science with a minor in Oceanography. He holds a Master’s License, Oceans Unlimited. He is a RADAR observer, holds a general radiotelephone operator license, and is a First Class Pilot of Steam and Motor Vessels / Prince William Sound.

Experience:

Capt. Wenz has sailed as a deck officer in various positions for over 17 years.

He served as a Safety & Pollution Inspector for Sea Support at the Exxon facility in New Haven, CT for two years.

Most recently Capt. Wenz served for roughly four years as Keystone Shipping’s manager of Safety, Environment & Quality
